4 Days Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara
Overview
- Morning: Depart from Nairobi early in the morning (around 7:00 AM). The drive to Lake Nakuru takes about 3 to 4 hours.
- Midday: Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park. You can enjoy a game drive and also take in the stunning views of the lake, which is known for its flocks of flamingos, rhinos, and diverse bird species.
- Afternoon: Have lunch at a lodge or campsite in or near the park.
- Evening: Optional afternoon game drive. You’ll have the chance to see lions, giraffes, and buffaloes, among others.
- Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp in or near Lake Nakuru.
- Morning: After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara. This drive is about 5 to 6 hours.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve and check into your accommodation (lodge or camp).
- Evening: Enjoy your first game drive in Masai Mara, where you can spot the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos).
- Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp in Masai Mara.
- Morning & Afternoon: Embark on a full-day game drive in Masai Mara. You’ll get to explore various parts of the reserve, including the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration (depending on the time of year). It’s a great opportunity to observe more wildlife.
- Lunch: Either have a packed lunch in the park or return to your accommodation for a meal.
- Evening: Another game drive or perhaps visit a Maasai village (optional) to learn about the local culture.
- Overnight: Stay at your lodge or camp in Masai Mara.
- Morning: Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Masai Mara to capture the last of the wildlife sightings.
- Late Morning: After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi, which takes about 5 to 6 hours.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic and stops along the way.

Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: other kinds of African wildlife, can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeest and zebra migration (from Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve); this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park
Morning game drives and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving time for lunch at the camp/lodge as well as check- in. Afternoon game drives takes you around the lake to view Flamingo’s and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill camp .
Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Morning game drive in this ornithologist park. Have lunch enroute and drive to Nairobi arriving in the early evening. Drop off at your respective Airport or Hotel.
